I was so bored with this book. I got to 25% and skipped to the end so see what would happen ... which I NEVER DO. What I read there made me glad that I didn't spend all those hours reading the whole book. There was no spark, no excitement, no "grabbing" in the words on the page. I just couldn't do it anymore.

Just so I'm not tempted to pick this up again, the start of the story we find ourselves in a brothel. And it just went downhill from there. I got 26% through the book before giving up.

I am sad.

This book failed my "3 F-bombs" rule. And by like Page 20, too.

I'm so disappointed because I had been waiting to read this book for months. I had really enjoyed the novella "Elemental" and had expected this to be the same.
